Welcome to Home Sweet Home, an idea for home-automation via the Apple iPhone. What home-automation means? Just think of arriving at home. Pull out your iPhone, start Home Sweet Home and push "Coming Home" (which is an action you defined for yourself). Now the light in the entrance turns on at 50%, iTunes starts playing a playlist, or your TV turns on, the air-condition starts to cool your living room, ... Possibilities are endless!
There are many ways to do home-automation with Windows, but only a few to do it with a Mac. I've always been interested in home-automation, but never had the money for it. Only some ideas - like Home Sweet Home.
